Things to do

Discover what else Loch Tayside has to offer.

On our doorstep

From the door of the Big Shed you can take a fifteen minute walk through the natural deciduous woodland to the sandy beach, or up the hill track just across the main road to Lochan Nan Cat, detouring to the cup and ring marked rocks (2 -3 hours) or if you have longer and are feeling energetic, take the hill track up to the summit of first Beinn Ghlas and then Ben Lawers (5 – 6 hours)

Just a short drive away, you will find

  • Kiltyrie Hidden History Trail, a self-guided walk part of the Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve
  • The ruins of Old Lawers village, a Scheduled Ancient Monument on the shore of Loch Tay
  • Killin to the west, where you'll find the ruins of Finlarig Castle, the Falls of Dochart and the Old Mill
  • Kenmore to the east
