This policy explains what personal data Loch Tayside Community Interest Company (LTCIC), the company that runs the Big Shed,  collects from you and how it is used.

We collect and retain the minimum amount of data necessary for providing a service and are committed to ensuring that the information we collect and use is appropriate for the purpose of providing our services to you and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy.

We store and destroy data securely and protect it from loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure

What data do we collect?

We collect your name and email address, when you contact us directly by email or by completing a form on our website.

We collect your  phone number if you contact us by telephone or supply a phone number in an email. 

We collect your Facebook ID should you choose to connect with the Big Shed via Facebook

An email record of information exchanged about the hire will also exist.

To allow directors to be contacted by LTCIC, their names, addresses &  telephone numbers are held.

LTCIC currently has no employees. If the organisation employs staff in the future, it will collect the  Information necessary for processing salary & PAYE in accordance with HMRC regulations

How Will We Use Your Data and How Long Do you Keep it?   

We use your data so that we are able to process your booking so that that you can use the Big Shed.

We use your data to maintain our own records and accounting systems in accordance with our legal obligations. We keep this information for as long as we legally must: currently 6 Company Years.

Information about past employees is removed at the Company Year End 6 years after the employee left, in accordance with recommended practice.

Marketing Consent and Withdrawal of Consent

We use your data to email newsletters or notice of events, if you have specifically consented to this.

You can withdraw consent to receiving emails at any time, by emailing websitecontact@bigshed.org.uk

We use your data to post newsletters/notice of events on  Facebook, if you have a Facebook link to us.

You can withdraw consent to this at any time of your choice via Facebook.
